Weight loss hypnotherapy has proven to be successful time and time again. The debate over it's effectiveness should have ended a long time ago. The new debate should be over "how effectively it has spill-over effects into the rest of your life?"

The way that weight loss hypnotherapy works is that it directs the unconscious mind (decision maker) to make choices that will achieve the positive wieght loss goals. Pretty simple and easy to understand. Once the unconscious mind begins to experience positive results through a new repetitive behavior, it will continue to generate the behavior. Thusly, a new pattern of behavior results. This probably isn't new for anyone. It's basic and simple enough.

The unconscious is both a specialist and a generalist. This means that it can attend specifically to a task or function. It can "specialize" if you will. It can also, however, generalize learnings from one area into another area. For example, if we change our unconscious decision making about food using weight loss hypnotherapy, our unconscious may also begin to make better choices more easily in the areas of alcohol consumption, fitness intesity or work efficiency. The unconscious mind may "generalize" the success patterns into any other performance area of life.

This is pretty exciting to me. I've seen it repeatedly, a client comes to me requesting weight loss hypnotherapy to lose weight, and they not only lose weight but they experience positive changes in other areas of their life as well. This makes my work even more rewarding, as if helping people live longer and feel better weren't enough.

We also know that the physiology of the brain changes over time when we think new or different thoughts. As you may know, upon autopsy of albert Einstein's brain, it was found to weigh substantially more that the normal person's brain. So the argument went on, did he think the thoughts he thought because his brain was so large? Or was his brain so large because of the thoughts he thought? I think it was the later.

Regardless, since weight loss hypnotherapy has positive effects beyond weight and appearence, we should consider self hypnosis as an available tool for increased performance in many areas of life. Let your unconscious mind grow with self hypnosis, weight loss hypnotherapy, meditation or any related positive esoteric discipline.
